來自英國的DJ兼製作人Quantic，本名Will Holland，自2001年首張專輯《The 5th Exotic》問世以來至今整整十年，已成為獨立電音界最令人目不暇給的名字。他不但以個人身分到處進行游擊戰，還一手創立The Quantic Soul Orchestra，與Spanky Wilson、Alice Russell等巨星主攻六七零年代的生猛放克樂；Quantic又和友人分別組成The Limp Twins與Quantic and His Combo Barbaro兩個團體，可說是非常全面的表現自己的音樂野心。
事實上，Quantic年輕時就在許多搖滾樂團裡擔任吉他手，而直到他的興趣轉為House與碎拍節奏後，他的輝煌事業才正式起飛。2000年一張12吋單曲〈We Got Soul〉為他打開知名度，也讓當時甫創業不久的英國黑人音樂導向品牌Tru Thoughts與他簽下一紙合約。綜觀Quantic的生涯紀錄，每年皆有專輯問世，他一會兒調控製作程式、一會兒又演奏吉他，加上無所不納的音樂視野，使他搖身成為同儕中最恐怖的存在。
